Story of MOMMOZI
Nowadays momos are the quintessential snacking option for Bengalis. But I came across this dish in 2009 when I gave a visit my in-law’s place, in Darjeeling. As I was passionate to explore culinary things, I learned to make momos from a work women in the tea garden. Time flows and my keenness for cooking also varies proportionately with the wish of starting on my own at the same time I discovered my passion to make momos and that’s how “Mommozi” happened.
After a few experiments, I decided to start a business during the pandemic, in 2020 and my better half, another pillar of my strength helped me through thick and thin. From renting a small room to upgrading our cafe and shifting our baby business into a two-storeyed, we have come a long way though we have miles to go. Our main motto is to serve delicious, hygienic momos at an affordable price to our customers and make their tummies happy.
